As we say goodbye to winter and SPRING into bloom, the time for planning is now. Summer is around the corner and we could ALL use something to look forward to! Keeping our kiddos occupied and engaged is priority number one, while not breaking the bank is an added bonus. To smooth out your planning process and prepare your little ones for TONS of fun this summer, we’ve gathered a list of our favorite summer camps and activities for kids in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island.

- BSOD Summer Camps and Classes
We may be a little bias but we absolutely LOVE our summer programming! BSOD has a packed summer schedule with offerings perfect to fit every child and schedule. Continue to thrive in our technique classes or try something new in our themed summer camps. Plan a summer FULL of #limegreenlove!
- Hilton Head Preparatory Summer Programs
Is your child an aspiring scientist, inventor, filmmaker, or musician? At Hilton Head Preparatory, your child will spend the summer launching their own YouTube channel or building a robot with their innovative camps for little scientists, athletes, and artists. Early enrollment is encouraged because of limited camp sizes on a “first-come, first-served” bases. Stay tuned for their upcoming camp schedule!
- Island Rec Center
Parents, are you searching for all-day camps for your kiddo? Check out Island Rec Center’s all-day summer camps for kids K-8th grade. Each week offers a new theme with days centered around arts & crafts, swimming, games, and sports. Island Rec Center also offers an inclusive camp for children with special needs! Island Rec Center is the perfect opportunity for your child to discover new interests and make new friends!
- KidzArt Summer Camps
Calling all little Picassos! It’s time to get crafty with IDEA Studio’s Summer Camps. Kiddos will have a BLAST experiencing a working studio firsthand. From “Throwing Clay” to exploring “Art Around the World,” they offer weekly themes for kids K – 8th grade. Imagine, discover, and explore art all summer long!
- Coastal Gymnastics Center
Is your child ready for a flippin’ good time? Check out Coastal Gymnastics Center this summer and fall in love with the sport of gymnastics. Gymnastics is an excellent way to improve your dance training by working on your flexibility and strengthening your entire body.
- Tormenta FC Academy Soccer Camps
Is your child goal-oriented? Find the back of the net with Tormenta Soccer Summer Camps. Perfect for first-time players or seasoned kickers! Your dance training will easily translate to soccer practice and have you excelling on the field with balance, power, and footwork.
- The Sandbox Children’s Museum
Spend your summer at the Museum! The Sandbox offers weekly themed camps full of educational activities around the Museum and outdoor adventures. Dive into the Ocean or explore Space with their interactive summer camps!
- Outside Hilton Head
Surf’s up kiddos! Join the Outside Surf School and master the waves. This summer camp is perfect for learning the fundamentals and safety of surfing while having a blast in the sun. Learning to balance on a board while riding on water is an excellent way to improve your dancing and build strength.
